I’m Tim, and I started Pavis Furniture in my garage with a simple goal: to create furniture that completes people’s homes.

I’ve always had a passion for making things, whether that’s music, videos, food, or especially woodworking. There’s something deeply satisfying about turning raw timber into pieces that people live with, use daily, and make memories around.

Every piece I make is built from solid wood, designed to last, and crafted to bring warmth and character into your home. I primarily work with oak and pine, timeless, durable materials that age beautifully. My designs are simple in form but thoughtful in detail, with clean lines, balanced proportions, and a focus on how they feel to live with.

I’m not trying to mass-produce or chase trends. I just want to build good furniture, honest pieces that make a home feel like a home.

Most of my work happens in a small garage workshop here in New Zealand. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s where each design comes to life. Every table, coffee table, and side piece that leaves the workshop is built by hand, carefully sanded, and finished with natural oils to enhance the grain and provide long-lasting protection.

I focus on solid construction, clean joinery, and thoughtful proportions to create furniture that not only looks good, but feels right to live with every day.
